This guy hired me to create a UK bill. I clearly asked whether he wanted a printed version or a PDF, and he chose a printed copy. I printed it and sent it to him exactly as requested.

After receiving it, he turned around and accused me of scamming him, claiming the print quality was bad and calling it fake. His only argument is that the printed colors don't match the PDF.

That accusation makes no sense. Anyone with basic knowledge understands that no printer can reproduce colors exactly the same as a digital file. Screens use RGB, printers use CMYK, and factors like printer quality and paper will always cause differences. This is normal and has nothing to do with something being “fake.”

Blaming color variation to label the work as fake is either a lack of basic understanding . I delivered exactly what was agreed — a printed version — and printing differences are completely expected.

I'd like others to judge this fairly, because this accusation is unreasonable.

You specifically requested a printed version, and I delivered exactly that. Expecting a printout to look identical to a digital file shows a misunderstanding of how printing works.

Color variation is normal and unavoidable — it does not make anything “fake.” I completed the work as agreed, and you have already paid for it. There is no valid reason to call this a scam.

it s not a misunderstanding , you should state beforehand that your printer isn't a professional one . if i knew i wouldve just printed it with my printer it comes out like that or maybe better

You’re shifting the responsibility after the fact. You asked for a printed version, not a professional print service. I delivered exactly what you requested.

Color variation in printing is completely normal, and expecting a perfect match with a digital file shows a misunderstanding of how printing works.

If you wanted professional-grade output, that needed to be specified in advance — not brought up after delivery. The job was completed as agreed.
