In 31 March 2026, Anthropic accidentally made Claude Code's source material publicy reachable through a .map file exposed in the npm package.
The published source map referenced unobfuscated TypeScript sources hosted in Anthropic's R2 storage bucket, which made the src/ snapshot publicly downloadable.
Note: The published source code is not leaked by me exclusively, so please make sure you run in a vm while analyzing the source code, I don't know if it's infected or not!
