Failed refund and lost my money @bad4badser

Additional Information: so I placed an order on apple.com and asked this guy if he could get a replacement and refund and he told me he could. He said he never failed and after I gave him all the infos, he failed it in 15 minutes blaming it on an update the carrier did. I can’t do anything anymore and he just don’t give a fuck about it.

Dear Cracked, dear Jollyface.

I'll explain the situation in detail:
A client contacted me about an Apple FR double dip, and I agreed to do it.

The package was delivered on the 29th, and I started working on the 30th.
After I started working, I checked the tracking number and noticed that UPS had filed a Damage Report.

I contacted Apple again and decided to press them, but they told me my replacement/refund was denied because UPS had given them a specific delivery location and had already filed a stamp from them. I HAD NO INFLUENCE ON THIS.
They did this on the day the package was delivered, meaning the order was already failed before it was handed over to me.

After that, he immediately received four emails, one of which stated the refusal.

Jollyface writes that I scammed him for 320. Why did I scam you? I don't take advance payments, payment is only after the work is completed!!!
You didn't lose your money, I told you that you can make a legit return and get your money back.

And anyway, this is a refund. I never promise 100% results. Anything can happen, and in this situation, UPS is at fault, not me! My mistake is that I didn't check the tracking number before starting work.
You even told me yourself that the box was slightly opened when you received it, and that's why they filed the claim.

Dear Cracked, I ask that you remove all restrictions and complaints against me, as I am not at fault in this situation.

I have attached screenshots of the correspondence to this message.

Jollyface, you filed a complaint against me due to a courier company error. These are false accusations against me.
Please delete this complaint immediately, as it is unfounded.

That's what I'm talking about! I told him you can easily make a legit return and get your money back. I didn't charge him any commission, and I never take prepayment.

I'm really upset that there are still people in the refund industry who don't understand that there's no such thing as a 100% success rate, that's a refund, and failures happen.

I hope he comes to his senses someday.

There's no margin for a refund here as you can get your money back by returning the product. Solved. Closed.
